FORRES SOCCER Sevens ended their season on a high with a festival of football last Sunday, when the junior and intermediate teams played in mini-tournaments throughout the day.

The youngsters also had their chance to watch their managers take part in a special match.

However, the showcase event was the intermediate cup final between Stuart Cycles and Dental Mechanics.

The game was a nail-biter from the kick-off, with Dental youths clinching the match 3-2.

The club also held its presentation evening at the Mosset Tavern, which was attended by more than 200 children, parents and team coaches.

The day's events were sponsored by Vertex Data Science Ltd.

There was recognition given by the club to previous office-bearers, Colin Robertson and Donna Philip, who served as chairman and secretary respectively.
