Hunter hits a winner

DESPITE the windy conditions, 39 Forres Wednesday Seniors played in a 3-ball better-ball competition, and some excellent scores were achieved.

However, the highlight of the afternoon was a hole-in-one at the seventh hole by Hunter Brown.

This was no mean feat as the 170-yard tee shot was made into a stiff breeze.

On returning to the clubhouse, Hunter was presented with a bottle of whisky.

Results: 1 Ross McKerron, Donald Logie, Murray Hislop 55; 2 Neil MacLeod, Ian Dustan, Tom MacLachlan 57; 3 Ian Cameron, Douglas Murray, Jim Hogg 58 (better last six).
