Volunteers needed to dig in the Dava

WORKING Parties of volunteers are beign sought to help keep The DAv Way accessible to all.

The second volunteer group of the season is heading out this weekend onto the popular route which takes walkers and cyclists between Forres and Grantown.

There is a lot of work to be done, with another working party planned for November.

Spokesman, Pete Mitchell said first up will be work to improve the surface North of the Divie Viaduct  at the Breamoray cutting. 

Volunteers are asked to meet at the Orchard road car park at 9am where the group will rationalise the transport available.

Volunteers are being asked to bring appropriate footwear and clothing for outdoor work. If you are interested in finding out more then telephone Mr Mitchell on 0788 146 2217 or email to dwfriends@btinternet.com.
