Mount Dora pupils looking forward to visit

TWINNING is a well known phrase in Forres, with connotations for Vienenburg in Germany and Mount Dora in America

Forres was on the agenda of the Mount Dora Burns Supper

The town's twinning associations have had links with both countries for a number of years.

Former Forresian Jimmy Brewster, who now lives in America, was invited to attend the Sister Cities Association of Mount Dora in Florida – Forres’s twin town – at their annual Burns Supper event.

He met the two students, Jackee Wilcox, and Courtney Kalmanson, from Mount Dora, who will be travelling to Forres in June on the annual twin town exchange programme, with two students from Forres Academy travelling to America in October.
