Classmates are all set for reunion

Former pupils from the class of 1983 are looking forward to a school reunion.

FORRES Academy pupils are looking forward to their school re-union which has been specially organised for the Class of 1983.

The reunion is open to all of those who joined, left along the way and those who stayed till the end of 6th year in 1989.

“Our year was a huge year with over 280 people starting first year in 1983,” said one of the organisers, who explained that a successful reunion was held for the year above last year, so they decided to organise a reunion for themselves.

The event being organised by a small group of the class of 83 will be held on Saturday, September 3 at The Mosset Tavern.

 A tour of the school is being organised for the afternoon at 2pm.

For many this will be the first time they have been back in the school since the day they left.
