Applegrove has strong anti-bullying policy

In response to your article of January 17, headlined 'Child leaves school' over bullying claims and subsequent letters of response from members of the public in the publications of January 24 and 31.

The Parent Council of Applegrove Primary School wish to take this opportunity to emphasise that the school has a very effective and pro-active policy regarding bullying which is strictly monitored. Furthermore, following consultation with the Moray Council, we are confident that the school has investigated and dealt with all outstanding concerns raised by parents.

The Parent Council are very happy with the way that staff at Applegrove are dealing with matters.
