This old photograph which was handed into the 'Gazette' office was 'Thinking Day at the Guides' taken in the early to mid 1970s, which was held in St Leonards Church Hall, with the Guides enjoying a Spanish night theme. An interesting wedding took place in the Queensgate Hotel, Inverness on Saturday, the contracting parties being Mary Penman Tulloch daughter of Mr and Mrs Tulloch, Earlseat, Moyness and Mr Robert Torrie, Blinkbonny, Brodie

This picture, taken during World War II, was handed in by Cynthia Jardine, who wonders if any readers might be related to the soldiers who appear in it.
